Information needed to respond

If you use the contact form, the required fields are name, email address, message and the anti-spam check response. If you do not provide enough contact information, Robert Jonathan Pitman may be unable to respond. You can instead use the direct email or phone details on the contact page.

Purposes and lawful basis

Data is used to respond to enquiries, run conflict and scope checks, protect the form from abuse, keep limited operational records, and manage complaints or regulatory obligations where relevant. The expected lawful bases are legitimate interests, steps before entering into a contract, and legal obligation where a specific duty applies.

Processors and recipients

The site data path is: browser to Vercel hosting and the Vercel contact function, Cloudflare Turnstile verification where enabled, Resend email delivery where live form delivery is enabled, and Robert Jonathan Pitman's mailbox. There is no matter database, client portal, file upload, payment processor or analytics by default.

If you choose to contact Robert Jonathan Pitman through an external platform linked from the site, such as LinkedIn or WhatsApp, that platform will process information under its own terms and privacy information.

Retention

Enquiry emails are retained only as long as needed for enquiry handling, compliance, complaints and record-keeping purposes.

The site does not make legal or similarly significant decisions solely by automated processing. Basic deterministic triage may flag obviously out-of-scope enquiries for safer handling, but it does not decide whether Robert Jonathan Pitman acts.
